We are looking for a Manager to help use establish a Manufacturing Science Department as a part of our MSAT organization. The department will provide technical and scientific process support, including investigations and impact assessment. Other important tasks include post batch evaluation, continuous process improvement and evaluation of new technologies. You will work closely with our customers and internal stakeholder to enable excellence in process execution.
The role is critical to our patients. Manufacturing life-saving medicines, right, the first time with patient safety in mind is our priority. Quality, safety and on-time delivery is necessary to be successful in this role!

The team:- Manage a department of technical experts organized into teams, including responsibility for budget and resource planning.
- Provide strategic leadership and technical expertise.
- Set goals for the department and follow up on department performance.
- Ensure development opportunities and work-life balance for the staff.
- Hire, train and develop a team of professionals.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practice, company standards and regulatory requirements
- Preferably PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. bioengineering, protein chemistry).
- Relevant experience in biotech and manufacturing or process development
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements related to development and manufacture of biologics.
- Ability to use knowledge and interpersonal skills to navigate in cross-functional landscape and to build excellent client relations to meet project and business objectives.
- An excellent communicator that can distill complex concepts with clarity of thought in a concise and factual manner.
