But with such an important roles comes great responsibility and in this role you will be in charge of 3 direct reports, all spanning across different tech stacks and locations. Roles and Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for aligning 3 teams of developers, setting their overall direction and strategy, whilst managing their different tech stacks and locations.
- You will work with one off shore team in Pakistan and 2 teams in Denmark.
- You will communicate with the business to understand the needs and relay this to your direct reports.
- You will work in a fast, dynamic work place, working closer to customers and propose fast decisions to keep up the market pace of retail.
Requirements:
- You must have experience managing multiple development teams and aligning them. It is a plus if these have been complex and challenging in terms of compatibility.
- You must have experience managing on-site and off site teams.
- You must have worked with Azure platforms and have strong knowledge of cloud architecture.
- You must have a technical background and understanding.
- You must be able to speak with business and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- It is a plus if you have experience specifically with .NET and PHP, or the retail industry.
